Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Broken Mirror by Leandro Erlich was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2010. The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 23,103.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leandro Erlich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Window and Ladder- Too Late for Help, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).

Die Arbeit Broken Mirror von Leandro Erlich kam im März 2010 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 23.103,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Leandro Erlich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Window and Ladder- Too Late for Help beobachtet, die im November 2011 für USD 92.500,00 (€ 68.757,90) versteigert wurde.
