Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Leander Engström could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Man och Kvinna" (=Man and Woman) "Gungan" (=swing) changed hands for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 12,424.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 130,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Leander Engström achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Badstranden" in May 2019 with an auction result of SEK 4,500,000.00 (€ 424,208.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leander Engström konnte im April 2017 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Man och Kvinna" (=Man and Woman) "Gungan" (=swing) für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 12.424,05) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 130.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Leander Engström erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Badstranden" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 4.500.000,00 (€ 424.208,45).
