Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Girl With Flower by Le Thi Luu was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,694.07), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Thi Luu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two children in garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Girl With Flower von Le Thi Luu wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art – Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.694,07) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Thi Luu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two children in garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
