This artwork by Le Thi Luu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Morning Session) auction, the work La Course À Quatre Pattes (Race On Hands And Knees) sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,779.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Thi Luu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two children in garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Le Thi Luu erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Morning Session) wurde die Arbeit La Course À Quatre Pattes (Race On Hands And Knees) für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.779,89) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Thi Luu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two children in garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
