The work La Confidence (Women Confiding) by Le Thi Luu was worth HKD 2,500,000.00 (€ 289,953.72) to a buyer in November 2019. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 600,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Le Thi Luu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Two children in garden, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).

Die Arbeit La Confidence (Women Confiding) von Le Thi Luu war einem Käufer im November 2019 HKD 2.500.000,00 (€ 289.953,72) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 600.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Le Thi Luu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Two children in garden beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86) versteigert wurde.
