Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Two Women's Head by Le Thi Luu. The price achieved of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,523.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Le Thi Luu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two children in garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Women's Head von Le Thi Luu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.523,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Le Thi Luu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two children in garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
