The work Portrait de Mme Anh Tran (Portrait of Ms Anh Tran) by Le Thi Luu was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 115,981.49), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Le Thi Luu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two children in garden in April last year with an auction result of HKD 6,300,000.00 (€ 761,715.86).

Die Arbeit Portrait de Mme Anh Tran (Portrait of Ms Anh Tran) von Le Thi Luu wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 115.981,49) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Le Thi Luu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two children in garden im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.300.000,00 (€ 761.715,86).
