Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Jetee by Lazare Volovick was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 510.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lazare Volovick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Faïences in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 8,674.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Jetee von Lazare Volovick kam im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 500,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 510,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lazare Volovick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Faïences im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.674,00.
