Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Lazare Volovick could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Studio Art auction, the work Seated Nude, Half Length signed 'Volovick' (lower left) 26 x 19 7/8 in. changed hands for USD 382.50 (€ 357.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lazare Volovick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nature Morte Aux Faïences in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 8,674.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lazare Volovick konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Studio Art wechselte die Arbeit Seated Nude, Half Length signed 'Volovick' (lower left) 26 x 19 7/8 in. für USD 382,50 (€ 357,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lazare Volovick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Faïences im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.674,00.
