Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Laylah Ali was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in March 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 9,375.00 (€ 5,931.67), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laylah Ali - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 29,800.00 (€ 19,141.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Laylah Ali wurde im März 2008 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 5.931,67) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Laylah Ali mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 29.800,00 (€ 19.141,83) versteigert wurde.
