It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 34,741.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lavinia Fontana achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Bianca Degli Utili Maselli, Half Length, In An Interior, Holding A Dog And Surrounded By Six Of Her Children in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 461,579.71).
