In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Lying Gun sold for USD 35,280.00 (€ 34,176.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laurie Simmons - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Walking Chanel Purse, which sold at auction in November 2016 for USD 100,000.00 (€ 94,535.83).

Für andere Arbeiten von Laurie Simmons mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Walking Chanel Purse beobachtet, die im November 2016 für USD 100.000,00 (€ 94.535,83) versteigert wurde.
