The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,925.00 (€ 7,319.17), 49% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laura Coombs Hills - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Larkspur and Lilies, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,860.14).
