In September 2005 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Pink and White Petunias by Laura Coombs Hills. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,947.09) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Laura Coombs Hills have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2017 the work Larkspur and Lilies was auctioned for USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,860.14).
