Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Latiff Mohidin was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,724.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Latiff Mohidin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Latiff Mohidin wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.724,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Latiff Mohidin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85).
