Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art, which included the work Debris by Latiff Mohidin. It changed hands for a price of HKD 575,000.00 (€ 67,175.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Latiff Mohidin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2015 the work without title was auctioned for HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Debris von Latiff Mohidin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 575.000,00 (€ 67.175,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Latiff Mohidin konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85) versteigert.
