The »bidding war« ended at GBP 24,225.00 (€ 28,887.46), 62% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by László Moholy-Nagy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 6,087,500.00 (€ 5,754,868.60).

Die Arbeit Untitled (From My Hospital Bed) von László Moholy-Nagy wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 24.225,00 (€ 28.887,46) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von László Moholy-Nagy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.087.500,00 (€ 5.754.868,60).
