Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction 80s, which included the work Selected Images by Larry Fink. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,826.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Fink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 82 Photographs 1974 To 1982, (Social Graces) in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 48,000.00 (€ 38,022.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 80s durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selected Images von Larry Fink zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.826,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Fink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 82 Photographs 1974 To 1982, (Social Graces) im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 38.022,81).
