Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work 'Venezia' by Larkin Goldsmith Mead. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 35,850.00 (€ 28,459.16). Other works by Larkin Goldsmith Mead have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 38,240.00 (€ 32,500.42) in May 2003 for the work Venezia.

Im Dezember 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Venezia' von Larkin Goldsmith Mead zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 35.850,00 (€ 28.459,16) einen neuen Besitzer.
