Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venezia by Larkin Goldsmith Mead was sold in the Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in May 2007. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 22,299.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Larkin Goldsmith Mead have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2003 the work Venezia was auctioned for USD 38,240.00 (€ 32,500.42).
