A top price for Larkin Goldsmith Mead
In May 2003 Christies in New York held the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Venezia by Larkin Goldsmith Mead. Here, the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 38,240.00 (€ 32,500.42). With this result, Venezia is even the most expensive work of art by Larkin Goldsmith Mead that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Larkin Goldsmith Mead
Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venezia von Larkin Goldsmith Mead zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 38.240,00 (€ 32.500,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Venezia sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Larkin Goldsmith Mead, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
