Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Drinkende man by Lambertus Zijl was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lambertus Zijl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kneeling Nude, which sold at auction in December 2014 for EUR 9,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Drinkende man von Lambertus Zijl kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kneeling Nude beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert wurde.
