Sold at the upper estimate price
In September 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations, which included the work A little girl by Lambertus Zijl. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lambertus Zijl - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kneeling Nude, which sold at auction in December 2014 for EUR 9,375.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im September 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now including Topographical Observations durch, in der auch die Arbeit A little girl von Lambertus Zijl zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kneeling Nude beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert wurde.
