The work Bust of H.P. Bremmer by Lambertus Zijl was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,125.00 42% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Lambertus Zijl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kneeling Nude in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bust of H.P. Bremmer von Lambertus Zijl wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.125,00 und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kneeling Nude im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
