The work Portrait of a girl by Lambertus Zijl was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It achieved a price of EUR 1,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Lambertus Zijl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kneeling Nude in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a girl von Lambertus Zijl kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kneeling Nude im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
