Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lady with a beret by Lambertus Zijl was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Lambertus Zijl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kneeling Nude in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 9,375.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lady with a beret von Lambertus Zijl kam im Juni 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lambertus Zijl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kneeling Nude im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00.
