This work without title by Lalu Prasad Shaw was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2006. It achieved a price of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,202.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lalu Prasad Shaw - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman With Flower, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,658.81).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Lalu Prasad Shaw kam im September 2006 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.202,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Für andere Arbeiten von Lalu Prasad Shaw mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Woman With Flower beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 12.000,00 (€ 17.658,81) versteigert wurde.
