It achieved a price of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,202.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lalu Prasad Shaw - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Woman With Flower, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,658.81).
