Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Converging Territories #21 by Lalla Essaydi was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2017. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,946.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lalla Essaydi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bullets Revisited #3, which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 81,250.00 (€ 61,702.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Converging Territories #21 von Lalla Essaydi kam im April 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.946,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lalla Essaydi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bullets Revisited #3 beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 81.250,00 (€ 61.702,61) versteigert wurde.
