Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Abend Stimmung Positano. by Edward Cucuel for EUR 12,900.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modern | Post War | Contemporary at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 15,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Cucuel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les yachts in December last year with an auction result of GBP 151,200.00 (€ 170,690.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abend Stimmung Positano. von Edward Cucuel für EUR 12.900,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern | Post War | Contemporary bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Cucuel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les yachts im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.200,00 (€ 170.690,07).
