Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by KYNE achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for HKD 529,200.00 (€ 62,827.40) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by KYNE - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in June 2021 for HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 164,242.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von KYNE erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 529.200,00 (€ 62.827,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von KYNE mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 164.242,40) versteigert wurde.
