Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Bonhams held the auction Add to cARTModern & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Untitled: I by KYNE. The price achieved of HKD 28,050.00 (€ 3,120.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 22,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by KYNE achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 164,242.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams die Auktion Add to cARTModern & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled: I von KYNE zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 28.050,00 (€ 3.120,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 22.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von KYNE erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 164.242,40).
