Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by KYNE achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in April last year. In the Faces Places: Online Auction auction, the work without title sold for HKD 176,400.00 (€ 21,328.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by KYNE have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,512,000.00 (€ 164,242.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von KYNE erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 176.400,00 (€ 21.328,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von KYNE auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.512.000,00 (€ 164.242,40).
