Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2013. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,847.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,751.00).
