In June 2018 Christies in London held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work Untitled (Seated Woman) by Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,260.34), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,751.00).

Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Seated Woman) von Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.260,34) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Krishna Shamrao Kulkarni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.751,00).
