The work River of Clouds by Koo Mei was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,594.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Admittedly, works by Koo Mei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).

Die Arbeit River of Clouds von Koo Mei wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.594,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koo Mei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
