The work Purple Snow Mist 2 by Koo Mei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,560.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koo Mei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Purple Snow Mist 2 von Koo Mei kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.560,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koo Mei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
