Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Koo Mei was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,923.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koo Mei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Koo Mei kam im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.923,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koo Mei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
