Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Landscape by Koo Mei was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,769.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Koo Mei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Majestic Panorama in May last year with an auction result of HKD 327,600.00 (€ 38,893.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Koo Mei wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.769,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Koo Mei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Majestic Panorama im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 327.600,00 (€ 38.893,15).
