Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Konstantin Korovin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2012. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Place de l'Opera with Café de la Paix at night, Paris sold for EUR 16,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Korovin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View From The Terrace, Gurzuf in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,497,250.00 (€ 1,892,574.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Konstantin Korovin erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Place de l'Opera with Café de la Paix at night, Paris für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Korovin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View From The Terrace, Gurzuf im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.497.250,00 (€ 1.892.574,20).
