This artwork by Konstantin Korovin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2008. In the Russian Art Evening sale auction, the work View From The Terrace, Gurzuf sold for GBP 1,497,250.00 (€ 1,892,574.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800,000.00. This high result makes View From The Terrace, Gurzuf the most expensive artwork by Konstantin Korovin that we have observed at auctions so far.
