Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Port St Denis by Konstantin Korovin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 26,460.00 (€ 31,066.53). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Korovin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View From The Terrace, Gurzuf in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,497,250.00 (€ 1,892,574.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Port St Denis von Konstantin Korovin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 26.460,00 (€ 31.066,53) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Korovin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View From The Terrace, Gurzuf im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.497.250,00 (€ 1.892.574,20).
