A top price for Konrad Cramer - as previously expected
The work Abstraction by Konrad Cramer was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 89,694.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Abstraction is the most expensive artwork by Konrad Cramer that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Abstraction von Konrad Cramer wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 89.694,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Abstraction das teuerste Kunstwerk von Konrad Cramer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
