Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Kong Xiaoyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Horses sold for HKD 103,840.00 (€ 11,692.54) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kong Xiaoyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sacred Articles in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 460,200.00 (€ 52,600.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kong Xiaoyu erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Horses für HKD 103.840,00 (€ 11.692,54) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kong Xiaoyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sacred Articles im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 460.200,00 (€ 52.600,18).
