This artwork by Kong Xiaoyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2018. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers Of Four Seasons sold for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,146.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kong Xiaoyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sacred Articles in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 460,200.00 (€ 52,600.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kong Xiaoyu erzielte im März 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers Of Four Seasons für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.146,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kong Xiaoyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sacred Articles im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 460.200,00 (€ 52.600,18).
