In February 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Ronnie by Kon Trubkovich. The auction ended at the price of USD 7,000.00 (€ 5,732.54), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kon Trubkovich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Out of the black and into the white in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,276.85).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ronnie von Kon Trubkovich zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 7.000,00 (€ 5.732,54) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kon Trubkovich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Out of the black and into the white im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.276,85).
