Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tent #2 by Koen van den Broek was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 20,981.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Koen van den Broek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Burning, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 56,250.00.

Die Arbeit Tent #2 von Koen van den Broek kam im Oktober 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 20.981,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Koen van den Broek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Burning beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 56.250,00 versteigert wurde.
