Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Water Lillies by Koen van den Broek was auctioned at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 15,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Koen van den Broek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Burning, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 56,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Water Lillies von Koen van den Broek kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 15.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Koen van den Broek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Burning beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 56.250,00 versteigert wurde.
