A top price for Kim Kang-Yong - as previously expected
The work REALITY + IMAGE 1406-1461 by Kim Kang-Yong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 475,000.00 (€ 54,238.61) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, REALITY + IMAGE 1406-1461 is the most expensive artwork by Kim Kang-Yong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit REALITY + IMAGE 1406-1461 von Kim Kang-Yong kam im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 54.238,61) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist REALITY + IMAGE 1406-1461 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kim Kang-Yong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
