The work Inazumi, February 1958 from Snow Country by Kiichi Asano was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in October 2009. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,535.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kiichi Asano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'A Rainy Commencement Ceremony', 1953; And Untitled (From The Series The Gion Quarter), 1956 in May 2019 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,074.63).
