A top price for Kid Kosolawat - as previously expected
The work Landscape by Kid Kosolawat was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The auction ended at the price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,177.17), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Kid Kosolawat that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Landscape von Kid Kosolawat wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.177,17) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kid Kosolawat, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
